Choose a setup path

6uo Wallet supports several starting points: create a fresh wallet, restore from a recovery phrase, restore from cloud backup, import with a private key, or add an address in watch-only mode. Pick the option that matches where your assets already live. A fresh wallet is right for new users, while restore and import are for people who already hold crypto elsewhere.

Back up before you fund

When you create a wallet, write your recovery phrase down offline and store it somewhere safe before you receive any crypto. Confirm you can unlock the app, that your recovery phrase or backup is stored securely, and that you are viewing the correct network before sending funds to a new address.

Importing an existing wallet

To bring an existing wallet into 6uo Wallet, use the exact recovery phrase or private key from that wallet. Double-check every word and its order, because a single wrong word will load a different, empty wallet. Only enter these secrets inside the app, never on a website.

Watch-only access

Watch-only mode lets you monitor balances and activity for any public address without adding signing access. It cannot send funds because the private key is not stored, which makes it a safe way to track a hardware wallet or a savings address.
